  1. 1 1/2 cups warm water

  2. 1 tablespoon instant yeast

  3. 3 tablespoons sugar

  4. 1 tablespoon salt

  5. 4 cups flour (I use a combo of wheat and white)

  1. Add water, yeast and sugar in mixing bowl, allow to bubble (about 4 min).

  2. Add salt and flour slowly, checking for consistency. You may need to use as much as 1/2 a cup extra flour- dough should be firm but slightly sticky.

  3. Place in greased bowl and allow to double (15-30 minutes).

  4. Flour your hands and separate into 12 rolls on greased pan. Allow to rise 15 minutes more.

  5. Bake at 350°F for 15 minutes.
