  1. 3-4 pounds beef chuck roast boneless, trimmed

  2. 3 tablespoons basil dried

  3. 3 tablespoons oregano dried

  4. 1 cup water

  5. 1 envelope onion soup mix dry

  6. 10 each sandwich rolls or Italian rolls*

  1. Place roast in a slow cooker.

  2. Combine basil, oregano and water; pour over roast.

  3. Sprinkle with soup mix.

  4. Cover and cook on low for 7-8 hours or until meat is tender.

  5. Remove meat; shred with a fork and keep warm.

  6. Strain broth; skim off fat.

  7. Serve meat on rolls; use broth for dipping if desired.
