  1. 3 tablespoons 45ml Olive oil

  2. 4 tablespoons 60ml Butter - (1/2 stick)

  3. 1/4 teaspoon 1 1/3ml Salt

  4. 1/8 teaspoon 0.6ml Freshly-ground black pepper

  5. 1 tablespoon 15ml Chopped garlic

  6. 1 tablespoon 15ml Chopped parsley

  7. 1/4 cup 59ml Dry red wine

  1. Recipe Instructions In a saucepan over medium heat, warm the olive oil and butter. Add the salt and pepper and simmer for about 4 minutes. Add the garlic and parsley and cook for 30 seconds. Drizzle in the wine and simmer for 3 minutes. Remove from heat and serve immediately. This recipe yields 3/4 cup of sauce.
