  2. Title: Basic White Sauce

  4. Yield: 1 Cup of sau

  5. 2 tb Butter

  6. 2 tb Flour

  7. 1/2 ts Salt

  8. 1 c Milk; (warm)

  9. Other seasonings as desired

  10. Melt the butter in a small saucepan, then add the flour, stirring

  11. continuously over a medium heat

  12. til mixture begins to bubble. Now,

  13. gradually stir in the milk until smooth and desired thickness is achieved.

  14. Then add your seasonings as desired. (i.e. salt and pepper, etc)

  15. *Note: For a thinner white sauce, reduce the flour and butter to 1

  16. tablespoon each. For a thicker white sauce, increase the flour and other

  17. to 3 tablespoons each. **Note For an Alfredo sauce add garlic powder, onion powder, and Parmesan

  18. cheese as desired to your particular taste.
