  2. 4 large green peppers

  3. 6 slices cooked ham, chopped fine

  4. 1 cup bread crumbs

  5. 1 egg

  6. 2 tablespoons water

  7. Seasonings to taste

  1. Cut off the tops of the green peppers.

  2. Seed them with a teaspoon.

  3. Wash the inside.

  4. Mix bread crumbs, egg, water, seasonings and chopped ham together.

  5. Press this mixture into each green pepper.

  6. Place peppers in a buttered pudding dish with 1/4 cup water.

  7. Bake in moderate oven for about 20 minutes.

  8. Then serve.
