  1. 1 Pheasant - cut up

  2. Flour - for dusting

  3. Butter - as needed

  4. 8 oz 227g Sour cream

  5. 2 cups 474ml Water

  6. 2 teaspoons 10ml Worcestershire sauce

  7. A few drops Tabasco sauce

  8. 2 Bay leaves

  9. 1 Sweet basil

  10. 1 Rosemary

  11. Salt - to taste

  12. Freshly-ground black pepper - to taste

  1. Dust pieces of pheasant with flour and brown in butter.

  2. Mix sour cream and water. Add remaining ingredients to sour cream mixture.

  3. Pour sour cream mixture in a covered roaster and add pheasant. Bake at 325 degrees for several hours or until tender.
