  2. 3 1/2 pound Broiler-fryer; cut up, skinned

  3. 2 medium Carrot; peeled and chopped

  4. 1/2 cup Onion; chopped

  5. 2 Celery stalk; chopped

  6. 2 1/2 Teaspoon Salt (or less)

  7. 2 Teaspoon Dried parsley flakes

  8. 3/4 Teaspoon Dried marjoram leaves

  9. 1/2 Teaspoon Dried basil leaves

  10. 1/4 Teaspoon Poultry seasoning

  11. 1/4 Teaspoon Pepper

  12. 1 Bay leaf

  13. 2 quart Water

  14. 2 1/2 cup Medium egg noodles; uncooked

  1. Place first 4 ingredients in 3 1/2-quart slow cooker in orderlisted. Combine salt and next 6 ingredients; sprinkle overvegetables. Add 6 cups water; cover and cook on low setting 8 to10 hours. Remove chicken and bay leaf; add remaining 2 cupswater. Stir in noodles and cook, covered, on high setting 20minutes. Meanwhile remove bones from chicken and cut chickeninto bite-size pieces. Add to slow cooker, stir to mix. Cook 15minutes on high setting, covered or until noodles are tender.
