  1. 2 cups 125g / 4.4oz Whole wheat pastry flour

  2. 2/3 cup 157ml Carob powder

  3. 2 teaspoons 10ml Baking powder

  4. 1 Salt

  5. 1/2 cup 118ml Honey or apple juice

  6. 1/2 cup 118ml Unsweetened applesauce

  7. 1/4 cup 59ml Canned pineapple pieces - - (unsweetened)

  8. 1 teaspoon 5ml Vanilla extract

  9. 1/2 cup 118ml Raw cashew pieces

  1. Recipe Instructions Preheat oven to 350 F. In a large mixing bowl combine flour, carob, baking powder and salt. Blend honey, applesauce, juices, pineapple and vanilla. Add dry ingredients to wet mixture and stir in nuts. Pour batter into an oiled 9" x 13" pan. Bake 1 hour or until brownies pull away from sides of pan.
