  1. 8 Bacon - diced

  2. 2/3 cup 131g / 4.6oz Sugar

  3. 2 tablespoons 30ml Cornstarch

  4. 1 1/2 teaspoons 7 1/2ml Salt

  5. 1 Pepper

  6. 3/4 cup 177ml Vinegar

  7. 1/2 cup 118ml Water

  8. 1 Kidney beans - rinsed and drained

  9. 1 Lima beans - rinsed and drained

  10. 1 Garbanzo beans - rinsed and drained

  11. 1 Green beans - drained

  12. 1 Wax beans - drained

  1. Recipe Instructions In a skillet, cook bacon until crisp; reserve 1/4 cup drippings. Set the bacon aside. Add sugar, cornstarch, salt and pepper to drippings. Stir in vinegar and water; bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Cook and stir for 2 minutes. Add the beans; reduce heat. Cover and simmer for 15 minutes or until beans are heated through. Place in a serving bowl; top with bacon
