  1. 1 box Barilla Whole Grain Thin Spaghetti

  2. 1 large red onion, thinly sliced

  3. 2 1/2 teaspoons thyme

  4. 1/3 cup extra virgin olive oil, divided

  5. 3 cups cherry tomatoes

  6. 3/4 cup water

  7. salt (to taste)

  8. freshly ground black pepper (to taste)

  9. 1/2 cup Pecorino Romano cheese, grated

  1. Steps:

  2. Cook Barilla Whole Grain Thin Spaghetti according to package directions.

  3. Meanwhile, sauté onion and thyme in half of the olive oil over low heat for 12 minutes.

  4. Add cherry tomatoes and water and simmer for 8 minutes.

  5. Season the sauce with salt and pepper.

  6. Drain pasta and toss with the sauce.

  7. Add Pecorino Romano cheese and remaining olive oil and toss again.
