  1. 1 whole chicken breast -- deboned, skinned -- and -- sliced into strips

  2. 1 1/2 tablespoons soy sauce

  3. 2 teaspoons cornstarch

  4. 1 teaspoon sherry or chicken broth

  5. 1 dash pepper

  6. 2 tablespoons vegetable oil

  7. 3 green onions -- cut into 1" pieces

  8. 2 cups diagonally sliced celery

  9. 2 cups sliced fresh broccoli or snow pea pods

  10. 2 cups fresh bean sprouts

  11. 1 tablespoon minced fresh ginger -- or 1 teaspoon ground ginger

  12. 1/4 cup chicken broth

  1. Preparation : Combine chicken with soy sauce, cornstarch, sherry or broth, and pepper; marinate 1/2 hour. Heat oil in wok or large skillet; stir fry chicken and onions for 5 mintes. Add celery, broccoli , or pea pods, bean sprouts, and ginger; stir fry for 10 minutes. Add broth; cover, heat 2 minutes. Serve over rice.
