  1. 3 md Onions, chopped

  2. 4 tb Drippings from ducklings

  3. 3 c Slightly dry

  4. -pumpernickel-bread cubes -(6 slices) 3 c Slightly dry white bread

  5. -cubes (6 slices) 1/2 c Water

  6. 1 ts Salt

  7. 1/4 ts Pepper

  8. 1. Saute onions in drippings just until soft in a large frying pan.

  9. 6-cup baking dish.

  10. 2. Bake with ducklings in a slow oven (325F)

  11. 1 hour, or until crisp on

  12. top.
