  1. Carrots with Fresh Dill

  2. 1 1/2 pounds carrot, peeled and sliced

  3. 1 tablespoon sugar

  4. 1 1/2 cups water

  5. 1 1/2 tablespoons butter

  6. 1/2 teaspoon salt

  7. 2 tablespoons fresh dill, minced

  8. 2 tablespoons butter

  9. In a saucepan bring carrots to the boil with the water, sugar,

  10. 30 to 40 minutes or until

  11. the carrots are tender and the liquid has evaporated.

  12. Just before serving toss the carrots with the additional butter

  13. and dill.
