  2. Cheese-Bacon Soup

  6. 6 sl Bacon -- cooked and Crumbled 1/2 c Celery -- chopped

  7. 1/2 c Carrot -- chopped

  8. 1/2 c Onion -- chopped

  9. 1/2 c Green pepper -- chopped

  10. 1/3 c Flour

  11. 1/2 ts Salt

  12. 1/4 ts Pepper

  13. 2 c Half and half

  14. 1 c Milk

  15. 1 cn Clear chicken broth-

  16. 2 c Sharp cheddar cheese --

  17. Shredded Remove bacon from drippings. Add vegetables to bacon

  18. drippings and cook until tender. Blend in flour, salt

  19. and pepper; stir well. Gradually stir in

  20. half-and-half, milk and chicken broth. Cover and cook

  21. until thickened and bubbly, stirring occasionally.

  22. Add cheese, stirring antil melted. Top each serving

  23. with bacon.
