  1. 3 cups 711ml Cider vinegar

  2. 4 1/2 tablespoons 67ml Ketchup

  3. 3 tablespoons 45ml Brown sugar

  4. 2 tablespoons 30ml Coarse salt

  5. 1 1/2 tablespoons 22ml Tabasco sauce

  6. 1 1/2 teaspoons 7 1/2ml Hot red pepper flakes - (to 1 tbspn) - or more to taste

  7. 1 1/2 teaspoons 7 1/2ml Freshly-ground black pepper - (to 1 tbspn)

  1. Recipe Instructions Combine ingredients in a nonreactive mixing bowl; whisk until salt and brown sugar dissolve. Taste for seasoning, adding hot pepper flakes as necessary. Transfer sauce to clean (or even sterile) jars; refrigerate. It will keep for several months.
