    1. 1 stick butter

    2. 2 cups brown sugar

    3. 2 egg s

    4. 1 cup flour

    5. 2 tsp baking powder

    6. 1/2 tsp salt

    7. 1 tsp vanilla

    8. 1 cup chopped pecan s

    1. Preheat oven to 350°. Cream butter, sugar, vanilla and eggs. Mix flour, baking powder and salt. Add to butter mixture a little at a time. Stir in chopped pecans. Bake in a square pan for 30 to 40 minutes until browned and done.
