  1. 1 pkg. Muscat raisins

  2. 3 c. water

  3. 2 tbsp. butter

  4. 2 c. sugar

  5. 2 tsp. vanilla

  6. 2 eggs

  7. 5 1/3 c. flour

  8. 4 tsp. soda

  9. 1/2 tsp. salt

  1. Boil raisins in water. Set aside to cool. Cream butter, sugar, vanilla and eggs together. Add flour, soda, and salt. Stir in juice from raisins, then add raisins. Bake in washed 15-20 ounce cans at 375 degrees for 45 minutes. Makes 7 loaves.
