  2. SPICED CAULIFLOWER

  6. 1 Cauliflower

  7. 2 Onions

  8. 6 tb Oil (or less)

  9. 1/2 ts Mustard seeds

  10. 1 t Ginger, ground

  11. 1 t Salt

  12. 1/2 ts Tumeric

  13. 1/2 ts Cumin

  14. 2 tb Parsley, chopped

  15. 2 lg Tomatoes

  16. Sugar

  17. Chop onions, then cook in oil until soft. Add

  18. mustard, ginger, salt and tumeric; cook for about 3

  19. minutes, while stirring. Cut cauliflower in pieces,

  20. add it to spice mixture, making sure it is covered

  21. thoroughly.

  22. Skin and finely chop tomatoes, stir into mix with

  23. cumin and parsley. Add sugar to taste. Cover and 10 to 15 minutes. Stir

  24. occasionally to prevent boiling.

  25. NOTES:

  26. An interesting way to serve cauliflower -- My

  27. mother makes this; I think she got it from a magazine

  28. somewhere.
