  1. 1 lb Small squid

  2. 1/4 c Olive oil or corn oil

  3. 3 Onions; peeled, sliced

  4. 1/4 c Vinegar

  5. 1/2 c Dry red wine

  6. 2 Cinnamon sticks

  7. 4 Whole cloves

  8. 1 Bay leaf
