  2. 1 1/2 cups 297g / 10oz Sugar

  4. 1 teaspoon 5ml Vanilla

  5. 1/2 teaspoon 2 1/2ml Almond flavor 1/2 Lemon (approx)

  6. 1 1/2 cups 355ml Buttermilk

  7. 2 tablespoons 30ml (or more) poppyseeds

  8. 2 cups 125g / 4.4oz Flour

  9. 1/2 teaspoon 2 1/2ml Baking powder

  10. 3/4 teaspoon 3.8ml Baking soda

  11. 1/2 teaspoon 2 1/2ml Salt

  1. Recipe Instructions Mix everything together well. Bake at 350 in a 9x13 inch pan for about 35 minutes or until golden brown on top and springs back to touch. Lemon glaze Topping: Juice and rind from 1 lemon and enough powdered sugar to make thick (not too thick). Spread the cool cake with a thin coating of glaze.
