  1. 3 tbsp corn oil

  2. 1 thinly sliced onion

  3. 1 peeled and finely chopped root ginger

  4. 1 tsp salt

  5. 1/2 kg bean sprouts

  1. Preparation (instructions) Heat oil in a deep skillet and stir until onion is soft and translucent. Add in ginger and cook for 2 1/2 minutes. Add remaining ingredients and cook for a further 3 minutes. Serve hot with boiled white rice.
