  1. 1 inch chocolate crumb crust -- (1 to 8)

  2. 1 package chocolate pudding and pie filling mix -- cooked type

  3. (4 -- ounce) 2 1/2 cups milk

  4. 2 teaspoons instant coffee powder

  5. 2 tablespoons white sugar

  6. 1 envelope dessert topping mix -- (2 ounce)

  7. 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

  8. chocolate sprinkles -- optional

  9. 1 Prepare pie filling using the directions on the package, using

  10. 2 cups milk.

  11. 2 In a small bowl, combine

  12. 1 cup hot filling, instant coffee, and sugar. Stir to dissolve and blend. Chill.

  13. 3 Cool remaining filling

  14. 5 minutes, stirring several times. Pour into crust, and chill.

  15. 4 Prepare whipped topping mix as directed on package, using remaining

  16. 1/2 cup milk and vanilla. Beat chilled cup of pudding until smooth, and then fold into whipped topping. Pile lightly over filling in crust, spreading evenly. Chill several hours before serving. Top with chocolate sprinkles if desired. Makes
