  6. 1 c Butter,softened

  7. 1/2 c Powedered Sugar

  8. 1 1/2 ts Vanilla extract

  9. 2 c Flour

  10. 1 d Salt

  11. 1 d Baking Powder

  12. 3/4 c Pecans,finely chopped

  13. Powdered Sugar for dusting

  14. In a bowl,beat together the butter and the powdered sugar until smooth and creamy. Add vanilla. Blend together flour,salt and just the DASH of baking

  15. powder. Add flourmix to buttermix,blend well. Add the chopped nuts,combine

  16. well. Roll the dough out into two balls.Wrap in platic wrap and chill for 1 hour. Flatten dough out and cut into 15-16 equal sized pieces.

  17. Shape into marble sized balls. Place on ungreased cookiesheets. Bake at

  18. 375-400 degrees F for 10-12 minutes each sheet until firm but NOT brown.

  19. While still warm roll into powdered sugar. Let cool and roll in sugar

  20. again. They store well and are very yummy!!!
