  5. 250 g Flour

  6. 250 g Urad dal

  7. 1 ts Turmeric powder

  8. 1 ts Ginger powder

  9. 1 ts Coriander powder

  10. 1 bn Sliced coriander leaves

  11. 3 Green chilies; minced

  12. 1 sm Onion; minced

  13. Salt; to taste

  14. Chilli powder; to taste

  15. 1 ts Crushed pomegranate seeds

  16. Boil dal a few minutes, or soak overnight. Drain, and grind coarsely.

  17. Fry dal and dry spices in 2 tablespoons ghee for a few minutes, then

  18. cook, covered, over low heat until the dal is cooked. Remove from

  19. heat. Cool and mix in flour, chillies, onion, coriander leaves, and pomegranate seeds. Add enough water to make a stiff dough.

  20. Using balls of dough the size of lemons, roll each roti out into a

  21. thin circle. Fry each roti in oil. Serve hot.
