  1. Cauliflower 500 gms (cut into pieces)

  2. 1 cup onion (chopped)

  3. Tomato paste 1tsp

  4. Green chili 2 (chopped)

  5. 1 potato (chopped)

  6. Fennel seeds 1tsp

  7. Cumin seed 1tsp

  8. Coriander powder 2tsp

  9. Red chili powder 1/2tsp (or as per your taste)

  10. Turmeric powder 1/2tsp

  11. Salt as per taste

  12. Lemon juice (or amchur powder) 1tsp

  13. Curry leaves (few)

  14. 1tsp tomato paste

  15. Coriander leaves (for garnishing)

  16. Water

  17. 1tbsp oil

  1. Heating up oil in a pan

  2. Put cumin seeds and fennel seeds when the oil is hot

  3. Add green chilies and curry leaves

  4. Put chopped onions

  5. Fry altogether till the onions are translucent

  6. Add tomato paste and mix it well

  7. Now add the cauliflower pieces and mix it

  8. Add the potatoes

  9. Mix altogether well

  10. Put salt, coriander powder, turmeric powder and red chili powder

  11. Mix the masalas with the cauliflower and potato well

  12. Pour ½ cups of water

  13. Mix it well and leave this to cook for 10-15 minutes

  14. Keep on stirring in between

  15. Cauliflower masala is ready

  16. Garnish it with coriander leaves

  17. Serve it with roti or chapatti
