  1. 1 c. flour

  2. 1 tsp. sugar

  3. 1/2 c. shortening

  4. 1/4 c. water

  1. Mix first 3 ingredients to consistency of cornmeal. Add water. Mix and handle as little as possible. Roll out dough enough to cover pie plate. Roll on floured wax paper.

  2. Put pie plate inverted on center of dough. Put hand under wax paper and flip paper and dough over. Remove wax paper from dough to adjust dough in plate. Add filling and bake or bake pricked crust in 475 degree oven for 8 to 10 minutes.
