  1. Combine tuna, mayonnaise, and pickles or olives. Spread butter over one side of each slice of bread; turn one slice over onto a sheet of wax paper. Place one slice of cheese over bread; top with tuna mixture and remaining slice of cheese. Top with remaining bread, buttered side up.
