    1. 1 package jiffy yellow cake mix

    2. 1 package chocolate chips --

    3. 6oz 1/3 cup butter

    4. 1 egg

    5. 1 teaspoon vanilla

    6. 1/3 cup brown sugar

    7. 1/2 cup chopped nuts

    1. Preparation : Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cream butter, egg, vanilla and sugar. Blend in cake mix. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts. Drop by teaspoon onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes. Makes 3 dozen. For a real quickie, prepare the same recipe except spread dough in greased 9 inch square pan. Bake for 30 minutes. Cut into squares.
