  7. 1 1/2 lb Beef stew meat

  8. 2 tb Cooking oil

  9. 2 c Potatoes -- cubed

  10. 1 c Carrots -- in

  11. 1 pieces

  12. 1 md Onion -- cut into thin wedges

  13. 1/2 c Celery -- sliced

  14. 1 pk Green beans -- frozen (9oz)

  15. 3 tb Tapioca -- quick-cooking

  16. 1 tb Beef bouillon granules

  17. 2 ts Worcestershire sauce

  18. 3/4 ts Thyme -- dry & crushed

  19. 1/2 ts Salt

  20. 1/4 ts Pepper

  21. 16 oz Tomatoes -- canned, cut up

  22. 1 1/2 c Water

  23. Cut meat into 1/2 cubes. In a large skillet brown

  24. meat, half at a time, in hot oil. Drain well.

  25. In crockpot, combine potatoes, carrots, onion, and celery. Add frozen beans, tapioca, bouillon,

  26. worcestershire sauce, thyme, salt, and pepper. Stir in

  27. browned meat, undrained tomatoes, and water. Cover;

  28. cook on low-heat setting for 10-12 hours or on
