  1. Cheesy Mashed Potatoes

  2. 4 large potatoes, cut into quarters

  3. 2 cloves garlic, cut in quarters

  4. 1/2 cup warm milk

  5. 1/2 cup cheddar cheese

  6. 2 Tbsp. butter

  7. Salt and pepper to taste

  8. Put potatoes and garlic in large pan with just enough water to

  9. cover the potatoes. Bring to a boil, reduce heat to medium, put

  10. the lid half-way on the pan and boil for about 20 minutes. Drain

  11. potatoes and garlic and return to pan. Mash potatoes and garlic,

  12. then add about half of the warm milk, the cheese and butter. Continue

  13. mashing over very low heat, adding the rest of the warm milk as

  14. necessary to make the potatoes nice and creamy. Season with salt

  15. and pepper.
