  1. 2 tablespoon(s) cornmeal

  2. 3/4 pound(s) mixed wild mushrooms

  3. 2 tablespoon(s) butter

  4. 1/4 teaspoon(s) sea salt

  5. 1/8 teaspoon(s) ground black pepper

  6. 1/2 recipe Thin Crust Pizza Dough

  7. 8 ounce(s) Taleggio cheese , sliced

  1. Heat oven to 500 degrees F. Sprinkle cornmeal over pizza peel or 2 baking pans.

  2. Roughly chop mushrooms into 3/4-inch pieces. Melt the butter in a medium skillet over medium-high heat. Add mushrooms and cook, stirring occasionally, for 3 minutes. Add the salt and pepper, and cook for 1 more minute.

  3. Divide dough in half; shape into 2 balls. Roll dough on a floured surface using a floured rolling pin to 12-inch rounds and transfer to the prepared pans.

  4. Add mushrooms and bake until crust is golden brown, about 15 minutes. Add the cheese and return to the oven for 1 more minute. Serve hot.
