  1. Heat oil in a pan add hing, whole red chilly, pepper corns, coriander seeds, channa daal, tour daal, cook this till daal is golden in colour, and add fenugreek seeds, rice, cook this in a slow flame till raw flavor is gone and add chopped coconut & green chilly, curry leaves, turmeric powder, tomatoes, cook it for 3 minutes and switch off the flame, once the mixture is cool down put it in the blender and make a paste.

  2. Heat oil in a pan add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, saut it and add chopped onions, curry leaves, salt cook this till onions are golden in colour and add finely chopped vegetables, saut it and add masala paste, water, tamarind juice, jaggery, let it boil for 20 to 30 minutes, after that add chopped coriander.

  3. Serve this with idly, dosa and vada.
