  8. 1/2 Pound flour

  9. 1 baking powder

  10. 1/2 Teaspoon salt

  11. 5 1/4 Ounces sugar .PP

  12. 1 egg -- beaten

  13. 2 5/8 Ounces butter -- melted

  14. 1/2 Cup milk .PP

  15. 1 grated lemon rind

  16. 1 1/2 cups kiwis -- peeled and chopped

  17. 4 1/4 ounces walnuts -- chopped

  18. 1. Preheat oven to 200 øC .

  19. 2. Sift together the first 4 ingredients. Stir in the egg, butter, and milk,

  20. just until moistened.

  21. 3. Fold in the lemon rind, kiwis, and nuts. Fill paper-lined muffin tins

  22. full, and bake approximately 20 minutes.
