  5. 1 c Butter or margarine

  6. 1/2 c Sugar

  7. 1 c Chocolate chips; chopped

  8. 1 ts Vanilla extract

  9. 2 c All-purpose flour

  10. 1 c Macadamia nuts; chopped

  11. Confectioners sugar

  12. Cream butter, gradually add sugar. Add flour gradually. Stir in nuts,

  13. chips and vanilla-blend well. Chill dough three hours or over night. Scoop

  14. by teaspoonful; roll into balls. Bake on ungreased baking sheet at 325 for 15-18 minutes. Do not brown. Roll warm cookies in confectioners sugar.

  15. Dough can be colored by a few drops of cake coloring if desired. Makes 5
