Chicken & Sausage Pot Pie

Cook sausage until brown, drain and set aside. Melt butter over low heat in 3 qt. sauce pan; add flour, salt and pepper, stirring until smooth. Cook 1 min., stirring constantly. Gradually add milk and broth. Cook over med. heat, stirring constantly, until thick and bubbly. Add sausage, chicken and peas. Pour into an 8-inch square or oval baking dish. Unfold pie crust over top and trim to fit. Cut an x in the center of the pie crust and bake at 425° for 25 minutes or until crust is browned.
