  1. 1 unfoldable pie crust

  2. 1/2 lb sausage

  3. 2 c diced, cooked chicken

  4. 1/4 c butter

  5. 1/3 c flour

  6. 1/4 t salt

  7. 1 (10 1/2 oz) can chicken broth

  8. 1 c whole milk

  9. 1 (8 oz) pkg. frozen pea s, thawed

  1. Cook sausage until brown, drain and set aside. Melt butter over low heat in 3 qt. sauce pan; add flour, salt and pepper, stirring until smooth. Cook 1 min., stirring constantly. Gradually add milk and broth. Cook over med. heat, stirring constantly, until thick and bubbly. Add sausage, chicken and peas. Pour into an 8-inch square or oval baking dish. Unfold pie crust over top and trim to fit. Cut an x in the center of the pie crust and bake at 425° for 25 minutes or until crust is browned.
