  5. 1/2 c Onions, diced

  6. 1/3 c Green peppers, diced

  7. 8 oz Ground turkey

  8. 8 oz Canned black beans, drained

  9. 8 oz Tomato sauce

  10. 1 pk Taco seasoning mix

  11. 1 c Cornmeal

  12. 2 ts Sugar

  13. 1/2 ts Salt

  14. 1 Egg, beaten

  15. 1/3 c Milk

  16. 2 tb Vegetable oil

  17. 1 c Canned corn, drained

  18. 4 oz Grated cheddar cheese

  19. 350ø. Spray a

  20. 9 pie plate with

  21. nonstick cooking spray and set aside.

  22. Spray a medium sized skillet with nonstick cooking

  23. spray. Saut‚ onions and green pepper until tender,

  24. about 3-5 minutes. Add turkey and cook until no

  25. longer pink, breaking the meat up into small chunks as

  26. you cook. Stir in beans, tomato sauce, and taco

  27. seasoning mix. Set aside. In a medium bowl, combine

  28. cornmeal, sugar, and salt. In a separate small bowl

  29. mix the egg, milk, and oil. Add egg mixture to

  30. cornmeal mixture and combine well. Stir in drained

  31. corn. Press the cornmeal mixture into the prepared

  32. pie plate like a crumb crust. Spoon the bean mixture

  33. on top of the cornmeal "crust". Bake 20 minutes.
