  1. 1 lb 454g / 16oz Ground beef

  2. 2 teaspoons 10ml Flour

  3. 2 teaspoons 10ml Vegetable oil

  4. 1 Sliced mushrooms - drained

  5. 1 Beef cube

  6. 1 Onion cube

  7. 1 cup 237ml Boiling water

  8. Salt and pepper to taste

  9. 3 1/2 cups 829ml Seasoned mashed potatoes

  10. 1 Mixed vegetables - cooked

  1. Brown beef and flour in hot oil. Drain of excess fat. Stir in mushrooms, Oxo beef cubes dissolved in boiling water, salt and pepper. Turn into a 6-cup baking dish.

  2. Top with mixed vegetables ( reserve some for garnish later), then mashed potatoes.

  3. Run tines of fork though potato for decorative effect. Bake at 375F for 30 minutes. Garnish with remaining vegetables.
