  1. SPINACH(PALAK bunches) - 2 nos (medium size/or 2 cups of leaves)

  2. Paneer - 250 gms

  3. Butter (or Ghee) - 2 tbsp

  4. To grind : (Big) onion - 2 nos.

  5. Tomato - 4 nos

  6. Green chili - 2 nos

  7. Ginger - 1piece (1 inch )

  8. coriander leaves - 1/4 bunch

  9. Curry leaves - (a few)

  10. Cardamom - 1 no

  11. Cloves - 2 nos

  12. Cinnamon (stick) - 1 piece (1 inch)

  13. Grated coconut - 1 tbsp

  14. Khus khus (poppy seeds) - 1/2 tsp

  15. coriander powder - 1 tsp

  16. Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp

  17. Jeera (cumin seeds) - 1/2 tsp

  1. Wash & chop the spinach leaves .Heat oil in a kadai and saute the leaves , add little water & allow it to cook.

  2. Grind all the ingredients given above to a smooth paste and finally add the cooked palak .. Grind smoothly & set aside.

  3. Heat a kadai with ghee and add the ground paste. Saute till the raw smell disappears.

  4. Take the paneer cubes and put it in boiling water for15 mins.Put the paneer cubes in the masala and add little water.

  5. Cover cook for sometime stirring in between.

  6. Switch off the flame and add few drops of lime juice before serving.

  7. Enjoy hot with roti, naan ..
