  1. 1 c Green chilies, diced

  2. 1 c Green bell pepper, diced

  3. 1 c Celery, diced

  4. 1 c Onion, diced

  5. 4 tb Butter

  6. 1 tb Honey

  7. 1/2 c Brown rice

  8. 3 c Water

  9. 1 Apple, chopped

  10. 1/2 c Almonds, chopped

Instructions Jump to Ingredients ↑

  1. Saute vegetables in butter and honey. Add rice and continue to saute until onions are clear. Add water, and boil 5 minutes. Turn heat to low; let rice absorb water, about 35 minutes.
