  1. 1/2 Garlic

  2. 2 tablespoons 30ml Butter

  3. 2 tablespoons 30ml All-purpose flour

  4. 1 cup 237ml Beef broth

  5. 1 tablespoon 15ml Fresh parsley - chopped

  6. 2 cups 474ml Fresh mushrooms - sliced

  7. 2 Green onions - chopped

  8. 1 tablespoon 15ml Butter

  9. 1/4 cup 59ml Jack Daniel's whiskey

  1. Recipe Instructions Rub saucepan with garlic; discard garlic. Melt 2 TBS butter; stir in flour. Slowly add broth, stirring constantly. Add parsley; cook until thickened; set aside. Saute mushrooms and onion in butter until tender. Add whiskey and thickened broth. Simmer several minutes over low heat. Serve over grilled or broiled chicken. Makes 2-1/2 cups.
