  1. 2 pounds asparagus trimmed

  2. 1 tablespoon canola oil or any kind of vegetable oil

  3. 1/4 teaspoon salt or to taste

  4. 1/4 teaspoon black pepper freshly ground, or to taste

  5. 4 tablespoons cashew nuts optional, chopped and toasted

  6. Curried yogurt dressing(recipe is below)

  1. Toss together asparagus, canola oil, salt and pepper.

  2. Place on greased grill over medium high heat.

  3. Grill and turn often until tender and slightly charred, 7 to 9 minutes.

  4. Transfer to a serving platter.

  5. Top with dressing.

  6. Sprinkle with toasted cashews if desired.
