  1. INGREDIENTS:

  2. Masoor Daal 1 cup

  3. Tomato 1

  4. Onion 1

  5. Red Chillies 2

  6. Turmeric pinch

  7. Salt to taste

  8. Bay Leaf 2-3

  9. Coriander powder 1/2 tsp.

  10. Chili powder 1/4 tsp.

  11. DIRECTIONS:

  12. 3 cups water. Bring to boil and remove foam.

  13. 2 Add bay leaves, turmeric, and a few drops of oil, and con- tinue to boil.

  14. 3 Mash mixture.

  15. 4 Add tomato and salt, and heat for a couple of minutes more.

  16. 5 Fry onion, red chillies, coriander and chili powders, and add to daal.
