  2. 4 Large Spanish onions -- sliced

  3. 3 Large cooking apples -- sliced

  4. 2 T brown sugar

  5. 1/2 Cup water

  6. butter

  1. Cook onions in some butter until nearly soft. Slice apples and add toonions.

  2. Pour in 1/2 cup water. Put lid on pan and cook 15 minutes or until applesaretender but not mushy. Remove lid, with brown sugar and cook, uncovered, forafew minutes longer.
