  1. White Bread/Classic

  2. this will make a 2

  3. loaf.

  4. 1 1/2 cups water

  5. 2 Tbsp margarine or butter softened

  6. 4 cups bread flour

  7. 3 Tbsp dry milk

  8. 2 Tbsp sugar

  9. 2 tsp salt

  10. 1 1/2 tsp bread machine or quick active dry yeast

  11. Measure carefully, placing all ingredients in bread machine pan in

  12. the order recommended by the manufacturer.

  13. Select basic/white cycle. Use medium or light crust color. Remove

  14. baked bread from pan, and cool on wire rack.

  15. Please note that not all bread machines are the same as I have a

  16. variety of ones. The best machine that produces this bread to a

  17. lovin taste is my "Black and Decker" model. Just watch your bread

  18. as it is mixing you may need to add more water or more flour.

  19. For a friendly low fat version I use: diet margarine in place of

  20. regular margarine, for the salt I use a salt alternative. I've been

  21. doing this low fat version for the past few months and no one here

  22. has noticed the difference.
