    1. 4 c Dates, stoned but not cut up

    2. 1 lb Walnut meats, not cut up

    3. 1 lb Candied cherries, not cut up

    4. 1 c Flour

    5. 1/2 ts Salt

    6. 3 ts Baking powder

    7. 1 c Sugar

    8. 4 Eggs, separated

    9. 1 ts Vanilla

    10. 4 egg yolks until thick and mix thoroughly through cake mix. Add vanilla. Beat egg whites until stiff and dry and fold into mixture. Line

    11. 2 loaf pans with wax paper, pour in mix and bake

    12. 1 hr at

    13. 350 degrees.
