  1. 4 cups cooked turkey, cubed

  2. 3 cups cooked ham , cubed

  3. 1 cup cheddar cheese , shredded

  4. 1 cup onion , chopped

  5. 1/4 cup butter or 1/4 cup margarine

  6. 1/3 cup flour

  7. 2 cups light cream or 2 cups half-and-half

  8. 1 teaspoon dill weed

  9. 1/8 teaspoon dry mustard

  10. 1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg

  11. 1 cup dry breadcrumbs

  12. 2 tablespoons butter or 2 tablespoons margarine , melted

  13. 1/4 teaspoon dill weed

  14. 1/4 cup cheddar cheese , shredded

  15. 1/4 cup walnuts , chopped

  1. In a large bowl, combine turkey, ham and cheese; set aside.

  2. In a saucepan, saute onion in butter until tender.

  3. Add flour; stir to form a paste.

  4. Gradually add cream, stirring constantly.

  5. Bring to a boil; boil 1 minute or until thick.

  6. Add dill, mustard and nutmeg; mix well.

  7. Remove from the heat and pour over meat mixture.

  8. Spoon into a greased 13 x 9 x 2" baking dish.

  9. Toss bread crumbs, butter and dill; stir in cheese and walnuts.

  10. Sprinkle over the casserole.

  11. Bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until heated through.
