  5. 2 1/2 c All-purpose flour

  6. 1 ts Baking soda

  7. 1/4 ts Salt

  8. 1 c Unsalted butter

  9. At room temperature

  10. 1 1/2 c Firmly packed dark brown

  11. -sugar

  12. 2 lg Eggs

  13. 1 tb Light molasses

  14. 2 ts Vanilla

  15. 1 ts Scotch whiskey; optional

  16. 1 c Pecans; toasted, chopped

  17. 3/4 c Butterscotch pieces

  18. 3/4 c White chocolate pieces

  20. Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Mix together flour, baking soda and salt

  21. in a medium-size bowl. Beat togeter butter and brown sugar in a large

  22. bowl until smooth and creamy. Add eggs, molasses, vanilla and whiskey,if

  23. using, and beat well, about 1 minute. At low speed, beat in the flour

  24. mixture. Stir in pecans and the butterscotch and white chocolate pieces.

  25. Drop dough by rounded tablespoons, 2 inches apart, on ungreased baking

  26. 300 degree oven for 18 to 20 minutes or until

  27. set. Transfer cookies to rack to cool. --
