  1. 12 oz vanilla-flavored candy coating or almond bark, cut into pieces

  2. 1 1/2 cups chow mein noodles

  3. 1 cup salted peanuts

  1. Line cookie sheet with waxed paper. In 2-quart saucepan, melt candy coating over low heat, stirring constantly.

  2. Stir in chow mein noodles and peanuts. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto cookie sheet. Let stand until set. Store in refrigerator.

  3. Candy coating, almond bark, and vanilla baking chips and bars are all forms of confectionary coating. Made from hard vegetable fat, sugar and flavoring, confectionary coating melts easily and is used to prepare and dip candy. It is white or tinted pastel.

  4. Feel free to use different kinds of nuts in this recipe.
