  1. 1/2 cup butter, softened

  2. 1/4 teaspoon celery seed

  3. 1/4 teaspoon paprika

  4. 1 loaf (1 pound, 20 inches) French bread, sliced

  1. In a small bowl, combine the butter, celery seed and paprika; spread between bread slices and over top. Wrap bread tightly in foil. Bake at 375° for 15 minutes. Open foil; bake 5 minutes longer. Yield: 6-8 servings.
