  1. 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour

  2. 1 teaspoon baking soda

  3. 1 teaspoon salt

  4. 1 cup butter -- softened

  5. 3/4 cup granulated sugar

  6. 3/4 cup brown sugar

  7. 1 teaspoon vanilla

  8. 2 eggs

  9. 12 ounce pkg. butterscotch chips

  10. 6 1/2 ounce pkg. regular potato chips* -- finely crushed

  11. 375F degree oven for 9-11 minutes or until golden. Let stand 2 minutes; remove to wire rack to cool completely. Makes about 5 dozen cookies
